Do I need physiotherapy experience?
There is no need for Recover Physio franchise applicants to have any physiotherapy experience.
We want to find people with a background in managing people to run our franchises, rather than physiotherapists. This unique strategy allows the franchisee to focus solely on setting up for success whilst the physiotherapists get on with the day-to-day. This allows for more time spent on business development and marketing, improving the franchise’s sustainability.
Do I need business experience to become a franchisee?
We’re looking for driven professionals with a passion for building businesses and improving the journey for customers. The ideal candidate will understand best practices of running and marketing a business, and have experience in managing people.
As part of the franchise offer, Recover Physio will make sure franchisees are provided with all of the relevant training, operations manuals and materials needed to set them up for success.
There is no need to have any prior franchise experience, or physiotherapy experience.
Can I start my franchise from anywhere?
Currently, we are actively seeking franchise partners in the East Anglia region within 2.5 hours drive from Norwich.
If you are located outside this area, we would still encourage you to still register your interest, as we have plans for expansion in the near future. We look forward to exploring opportunities with enthusiastic and motivated individuals from all regions!
What are the franchise fees?
The initial franchise investment is £22,500. The fees purchase the rights to operate a franchise business from a location for a set term. Recover Physio will support with finding business funding if required.

What other costs do I need to factor in?
The franchise fee is paid upfront, and then franchisees will pay a monthly service fee on an ongoing basis. You will also have to lease, brand and equip a suitable premises, which we can support you with.

Will I have to work in the business full-time or can I have a manager to look after my clinic?
As part of the agreement, you will be required to fully participate in the day-to-day running of the business, however, we understand that everyone has different circumstances. Get in touch for further information and we can arrange a call to discuss.
What support does Recover Physio offer to help me manage my franchise business?
Recover Physio will provide support with finding and hiring physios, as well as expert training in its proprietary treatment methods, monitoring, and ongoing operational support. This will include training for franchisees on the industry, operating procedures and processes that the company has developed and perfected since its inception in 2012.
Franchisees will be given comprehensive training on all of Recover Physio’s existing operations and back end systems, including booking and diary management software, and marketing streams. They will also be provided with all the relevant literature, from staff handbooks to HR advice and branding, to set them up for success.
What marketing support will Recover Physio offer me?
Recover Physio will support new franchises with their marketing strategies, including support with marketing ideas and help them to produce a marketing plan to roll out to market to customers in their locality. There will be a collaborative approach to online marketing, and franchisees will work closely with the team in Norwich to optimise its social media and online presence.

What recruitment and training support does Recover Physio provide?
Recover Physio will provide support throughout the process of recruiting the new practice’s physiotherapists. We will be involved in the process from helping to write job adverts to finding the right physiotherapists, to showing the best places to place that job advert, to supporting with screening and the interview process.
Recover Physio will take on the training of all physiotherapists at new franchises. We have developed a proprietary training programme, which will set them apart from your competition.
Will I need to find my own physiotherapy studio or premises?
The location and premises will be important to the success of the franchise, and franchisees have the freedom to bring their knowledge of their local area to find the right place!
Recover Physio will support, providing the specifications for premises and ensuring the essential criteria for a successful practice are met.
Will I be provided with software to run my franchise?
Yes, Recover Physio will provide all the operations software necessary to run the business. This includes everything including CRM, diary management, medical record storage, clinic reporting software, Exercise Prescription Software, and HR management.

When was Recover Physio established?
Recover Physiotherapy was originally established in Norwich in 2012, by founder Stuart Wardle. It has grown into a leading musculoskeletal physiotherapy provider with a proven track record of training Physiotherapists to treat patients to the highest standards.
